Skiing at
San Carlos de Bariloche
-
2 hours flight
from Buenos Aires,
in the Lake District
Ski Resort
This ski resort has more
than 30 lifts, including modern,
high speed 6-chairs, with bubble.

For all levels
of skiers - with a great beginner
area at the base and high quality
skiing in the upper locations
-
High season
starts the 15th of July and lasts
until the first week of August.
Very good skiing in late winter
with normal ( nice and sunny )
weather until the end of September.

Bariloche has
20.000 tourist beds and we can find
accommodations for everyone.

DAY 1 ~ Arrival
at Bariloche airport
Transfer to a hotel near the
lakeside with an excellent view to
the lake or the mountain. A
welcoming drink, and all you need
to know about Bariloche and
surroundings - the most popular ski
resort In Argentina. Dinner and first night at a really
nice hotel.

DAY 2 ~
Breakfast and transfer to Cerro Catedral
At the base you will find excellent
ski rentals, restaurants, shopping
and ski schools. You can pick your
type of ski equipment: carving,
skis, or snowboard. After getting
tickets you will be free to ski and
enjoy your day until 5 o'clock.
Après-ski is available at the
several bars on the mountain or
down at the base. Transport to the hotel and dinner.

DAY 3 ~
After breakfast, we take you to the mountain
Another full day of Skiing.
Lunch is available in various
restaurants or snack bars.
Transfer back to the hotel in
comfortable vans.
This evening we take you to a
romantic "cave dinner",
in incredible surroundings, with
open air dining under a huge rock
outcropping with all kinds of logs
around! This place is situated on
the mountain and may be reached
with skidoos (or on foot) if there
is enough snow, otherwise it's a
4-wheel-drive trip.

DAY 4 ~
Breakfast and up to the mountain again!
Another day of skiing. In the
afternoon we can visit the shopping
center at Cerro Catedral Base and
have a home made cake. After
arriving at the hotel we may visit
a Chocolate Factory, which is very
well known all over the country.
(Keep in mind that there are
numerous German immigrants
hereabouts) Dinner at a very typical barbecue
place.

DAY 5 ~ Drive to the mountain
for a last day of skiing ~ or Breakfast and
shopping
We finish this day earlier to enjoy
a German afternoon at
"Bellevue‘s tea house"
to taste the most delicious cakes
of Bariloche. After getting back to
the hotel, let’s have a great
bowling night - or not!
Dinner and Hotel night.
Fly out the next morning.
For those who wish to complete their
ski week, after breakfast we invite
you to see the best shopping places
for our arts and crafts and then
take you to the international
airport.
