We now offer Peru
Railway Tours! Visit many
of Peru's main tourist destinations and
enjoy the scenic Andes mountains by train,
including Cuzsco (Cusco), Arequipa, Lake Titicaca,
the Sacred Valley of the Incas (Ollantaytambo),
and of course, the Inca fortress of Machu
Picchu.
-
The cities of Cusco, Puno, Arequipa,
Iquitos, Chiclayo, Trujillo, and Tumbes are
best visited by air. Other destinations such as Nazca,
Paracas, and Huaraz may be done overland
as the Pan American Highway in
Peru is in good shape. Some of the Northern routes
can also be accessed by car or bus.
Peru has everything for the tourist - spectacular Inca
and pre-Inca ruins and artifacts, the
finest colonial architecture in South America,
friendly people, breathtaking scenery, colorful
handicrafts and folkloric heritage. The brilliance
of the Macaws in the misty rain forests, sleek
sea lions off the Pacific coast,
the deep turquoise of the mountain lakes in the
towering Andes, and the evocative
ruins of Machu
Picchu (shown at left) will be wonders imprinted on
your mind forever.
