Arrival Day in Guatemala City: Monday or Thursday
Day-1 - Guatemala City
Arrival in Guatemala City. Transfer from airport to hotel. Overnight accommodations at Grand Tikal Futura Hotel**** or similar.
Day-2 - Guatemala City / Antigua / Panajachel
Breakfast. Transfer to the colonial city of Antigua. Half day city tour of Antigua. Visit the Palace of the Captains General Building, the Main Square, and the Cathedral of San José.
Transfer to Panajachel where the final battle took place between the spanish conquistadors and their allies the Cakchiqueles against the people of Tzujiles.
Overnight accommodations at Hotel Dos Mundos*** or similar.
Day-3 - Panajachel / Atitilan / Panajachel
Breakfast. Lake Atitlan boat tour. Cross the lake to visit San Antonio Palopo, San Pedro La Laguna and Santiago Atitlan, the largest and most traditional modern day Maya village.
Overnight accommodations at Hotel Dos Mundos*** or similar.
Day-4 - Panajachel / Chichicastenango / Guatemala City
Breakfast. Transfer to Chichicastenango. Visit the colorful open-air market and the church of Santo Tomas, built in 1540.
Transfer to Guatemala City. Overnight accommodations Grand Tikal Futura Hotel**** or similar.
Day-5 - Guatemala City / La Aurora International Airport
Breakfast. Transfer to La Aurora International airport for flight departure.
