After climbing to over 14,000 feet to cross the Papallacta Pass in the Andes Mountains,
descending through dramatic changes in landscape and dropping into the Ecuadorian tropical rain forest, you will emerge on the banks of the Napo River. It is at this point that your adventure on one of
Ecuador's great rivers begins.
Welcome! Step out of our 61-foot motorized canoe and into the jungle of Ecuador. Your rainforest adventure has begun!
"Yachana" means "a place for learning" in the indigenous Quichua language.
Come and experience the amazing bio-diversity of the rainforest.
Comfortable rooms and cabins accommodate a total of 42 people in six double rooms and five triple rooms, plus three family cabins with two separate bed rooms. The cabins and rooms have private shower and toilet facilities. As well, each room and cabin has a private porch with hammock and a panoramic view of the river.
