Location of
Hamadryade Lodge:
Located between Puerto Napo and Misahualli off of Puerto
Misahualli Road.
Hamadryade Lodge is situated on 64 Hectares on the bank of the Napo River, up to the border of the Valle Hermoso and Ponceloma communities, and the biosphere reserve of "Galeras / Sumaco".
Accessing Hamadryade Lodge: |
From
Quito:
- Traverse the Guayasamin
Tunnel to Cumbaya
- Follow the Cumbayo/Pifo direction
There is only one road from Pifo to Baeza passing through
Pappallacta and Cuyuja (Quito-Baeza: 100-Km / 1-hr and
45-min).
- After Police Control, follow The Tena direction (on the
right) through Baeza, Cosanga, Archidona, and then Tena (Baeza-Tena:
80-Km / 1-hr and 45-min).
- Go through Tena, pass the hospital, and drive another 4-Km
to Puerto Napo.
- At the entrance of Puerto Napo, before the
bridge, turn left on the Puerto Misahualli Road.
- Drive 11-Km to the entrance of the Lodge.
Please note that the road on the Sumaco Mountain can be
rough and requires slow driving for safety.

From Bańos
/ Puno:
- Drive directly to the
Puerto Napo Bridge.
- Cross the bridge and then turn right
onto the Puerto Misahualli Road.
- Drive 11-Km on the Puerto
Misahualli Road to the entrance to
the lodge.
