Torres Del Paine Tour (Optional Tour)

This National Park has an area of 242,242 hectares and is located on the Ultima Esperanza Sound, 150 km from Puerto Natales. It was declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. It has three accesses: Portería Sarmiento, Laguna Amarga and Laguna Azul. This park abounds in extremely beautiful sights and has paths that have been cleared for treks to different pampas, thick Magellanic forests, ice floe-peppered lakes and the most impressive and well-known features of all: the Torres and Cuernos del Paine.

There are seven Park Ranger installations distributed in different sectors, which are
interconnected and also connected to the Park Administration Office, where you can organize treks, horseback rides, camping, climbs, fishing trips, etc.

Milodon Cave Tour  (Optional Tour)

Located 24-km north of Puerto Natales, this Natural Monument consists of three caves and a rock formation called "Devil's Seat".  Most of these caves are 150-meters above sea level and measure: 30-meters high, 80-meters across and 200-meters deep. The scientific interest in this site is the fact that in 1895, the skin, bones and other remains of an extinct animal were found.  It was the MILODON (Mylodon darwini) an enormous herbivore that most probably disappeared at the end of the Pleistocene.  Apart from the historical, scientific and cultural value of the Cave off the Milodon, it offers an additional attraction, that is its landscape and wildlife..  The area corresponds to a transition period between steppe and forest and its flora includes ñire, calafate (box-leaved barberry) and romerillo.  Animals are abundant, especially in caves.
