Punta Arenas - Ushuaia Tour
Day 01 (Saturday)
- Passengers check-in at 990 Magallanes Street,
Punta Arenas (1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- Embark from 6:00 p.m. on the Mare
Australis.
Day 02 (Sunday)
- Disembark at Ainsworth Bay to view from a
distance Marinelli Glacier and visit an Elephant Seal
colony.
- Zodiac navigation around Tucker Islet to visit a
small colony of Magellan Penguins and a large colony of Cormorants
together with predatory Skuas. It is possible to see Southern
Dolphins and Sea-Lions.
Day 03 (Monday)
- Sail through the D'Agostini Inlet and see the
impressive Serrano and D'Agostini Glaciers.
- Land at the Condor Glacier Bay to reach Zodiac
boats near the glacier and then take a walk through the Magellan
forest.
Day 04 (Tuesday)
- Sightsee the Garibaldi Glacier and the
impressive snow-covered mountains of the Darwin Range.
- Disembark at the coast of the Garibaldi Inlet to
take an adventurous excursion, where we will be able to appreciate
the wild vegetation and forests on the slopes of the mountains of
the region.
- Sail along the north-west arm of the Beagle
Channel where the majestic "Glacier Alley" can be
appreciated.
- Land at Puerto Williams, located on the Navarino
Island, where there is an interesting anthropologic museum, a naval
base, and one of the last representations of sub-Antarctic
vegetation.
Day 05 ( Wednesday)
- Arrival in Ushuaia, the most important
Argentinean city on the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego and the
southernmost city in the world.
- Passengers disembark at Punta Arenas -
Ushuaia journey from 9:00 a.m. on.

Ushuaia - Punta Arenas Tour
Day 01 (Wednesday)
- Passengers check-in at 245 San Martin Street,
Ushuaia (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
- The crew headed by the captain will welcome you
on board. Cocktail with those who will be your cruisemates.
Day 02 (Thursday)
- Sail to Cape Horn.
- Land at Cape Horn National Park to visit the
island and get a panorama of the famous and mythical Cape Horn, the
point where the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans merge.
- Disembark at Wulaia Bay, a historical indigenous
settlement with place of high archeological value.
Additionally, this place offers a very beautiful view because of its
vegetation and geography.
Day 03 (Friday)
- Land in front of the Pia Glacier and excursion
toward an observation point where we will have the best view of one
of the most beautiful glaciers of the Darwin Mountain
Range.
Day 04 (Saturday)
- Disembark at Magdalena Island, the home of a
huge penguin colony of thousands of specimens in different stages of
development.
- Walk to the lighthouse that guided the exploring
sailors when passing along the Magellan Strait.
- The expedition ends by disembarking at Punta
Arenas (11:00 a.m.)
