A mere eight miles from the Great Blue Hole of Belize,
Lighthouse Reef Resort is located on a Caribbean atoll at
the North end of Lighthouse Reef about 50 miles east of mainland
Belize in Central America. Lighthouse Reef Resort is a
dedicated dive resort, offering Scuba diving, and snorkeling, as
well as luxury accommodations.
The Great Blue Hole of Belize - one of the last unspoiled
wonders of the Western Caribbean - is only two hours from Miami,
New Orleans or Houston. And, now, you can make the entire
trip by air!
Lighthouse Reef Resort nestles on Northern Cay, a private island
at the northern end of the Lighthouse Reef Reserve. The
island's protected lagoon is perfect for snorkelers of all ages.
If you're an experienced diver, the resort's custom-built
cruiser will take you for a diving adventure during which you
can explore the untouched reefs and walls and the wrecks
harbored below.
You can fly non-stop to Belize International Airport from Miami,
Houston or New Orleans. From the airport, it's a quick
flight via an island-hopper to the resort. From the air,
you'll get your first opportunity to view the wild jungle
surrounding Belize City and Belize's Great Barrier Reef, the
world's second largest barrier reef.
Unlike many "dive resorts" you won't
be roughing it! You'll even arrive in style - We
are on the only atoll in the Western Hemisphere with its own
private airstrip. A scenic 20- minute flight to and from
Belize's International Airport saves a four hour boat trip and
gives you just that much more time to enjoy the resort and the
atoll.

is located on an island near the north end of the reef, just
minutes away. Belize has the second largest barrier
reef in the world, second only to Australia's.
