1st
Day - Welcome at
Bariloche airport
- transport to a hotel in the Llao llao area
- Information chat / briefing
- Dinner
|
2nd Day - Short
tour of the district
- On to Paso Flores, across the Patagonian
landscape to Estancia Los Manantiales, where German settlers have established a refuge.
- We can enjoy a swim in the pool, a walk and
a good German dinner.

3rd Day
- Begins with a horse ride
- where we can observe the guanacos,
emu, deer and birds of prey (condors, eagles etc.) and also
remnants of a petrified forest.
- Lunch and continue to "San Martin de los
Andes" a picturesque Village situated on Lake Lacar
- Tea at "los Arrayanes" while enjoying the
magnificent view
- On to Hosteria San Hubertus on Estancia
"Tres Picos" where we open the night with a typical Argentine ranch dinner.

4thDay
- Visit the estancia
- savor an asado criollo
- Drive to the foot of the majestic Volcano Lanin
- We learn about the local ecology and the
unique Araucaria forest.
- Continue on and cross the border to Chile.
- We spend the night in
Pucon.

5th
Day - Climb the Volcano Villa Rica (2840m)
- View the crater and explore ancient
lava caves.
- Visit local Indian market and
handcrafts fairs.
- Typical Chilean dinner and spend the
night.

6th
Day Head North to Temuco
- This is an interesting market with a vast variety of
home spun goods, baskets and handcrafts.
- On to Volcano Llaima
- Tea at an old "Fundo" (Ranch)
- Finally to the Ski-Resort "Las Araucarias"
where we dine and stay the night.

7th
Day - We set out for
Valdivia
- There we can indulge in the local marzipan and
visit the home made brewery.
- On to Niebla, an old Fortress, dating back to the
Spanish colonial days and the entrance to the Valdivia river.
- Dinner and over night in
Valdivia.

8th
Day - Enroute to Puerto
Montt
- We pass through several small villages near the
Pacific coast.
- Puerto Montt is an interesting old fishing port.
- We spend a free afternoon visiting the Indian
market and other attractions.
- Dinner is seafood accompanied by folk music and
good Chilean wine.

9th
Day - Drive to the Ski
Resort "Las Burbujas"
at the foot of the huge Volcano Osorno.
- From here we have a choice:
~ climb to the summit with guide and equipment
~ or tour around Lake Llanquihue
- Then a drive through the countryside to the
Hotel Termas de Puyehue
- Relax, take Thermal Baths and swim in the pool,
dine and have a restful night.

10th
Day - Free morning
- We may explore the fascinating Rain Forest with
a large variety of ferns and exotic flowers.
- Later we drive to Antillanca, a small Ski Resort
where we climb to the crater.
- There is a German Club here, also.
- Later on we will get an ecological talk on
Chilean National Parks.
- Relax, have a Thermal Bath and dine at the hotel.

11th
Day -
Cross
the border back into Argentina
past Villa la Angostura and Lake Nahuel Huapi.

We are welcomed to a Patagonian Estancia,
-
We have a Gaucho's lunch and ride a horse around the ranch.
- That evening we reach Bariloche
- We dine and spend the night in a cozy hotel.

12th
Day - Free time in
Bariloche
- Try chocolate factories, silver or leather
shop
- That evening Peter Somweber will delight you
with his musical show over a farewell dinner.

13th
Day - Last chance for shopping and
farewell
at Bariloche International Airport.
